Sorry to hear about the sudden passing of Marshall. I will remember him for a long time to come, he always kept me smiling and laughing when we were around each other. He will be missed!

Marshall and I have been friends as far back as I can remember. We played at his Aunt Maxine's flower shop and didn't stray too far from his Mama's watchful eye. His physical limitations just added to his character by making his personality shine even more. His smile lit up his whole face and it would have been hard not to love him. I just saw him a few weeks ago, and even though he was in pain, that big smile once again covered his face. As others have said, he had a heart of gold. He may not have always made the right decisions in his lifetime, but he always had a good heart. Now he's free from pain and can run and be the kid that he missed out on being..Have fun, buddy, know that you will be missed, and God bless.

Marshall set me up with my first date with Jean, and was my best man at wedding in 1984. I will miss him very much.

I am so sorry for your loss. Marshall could sure put a smile on my face and crack me up with his jokes. Anyone who truly knew him couldn't help but love him. He had a heart of gold and would never intentionally hurt anyone. I will really miss him and his glowing smile and laughter! Pam Weldon
