JEREMY CHRISTIAN JONES, 35, of Sanford, NC passed away Friday, January 22, 2010. Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 PM, Sunday, January 24, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Sanford by Dr. Jeff Clark. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2010 in the Friendship Cemetery in Hahira. Following the services the family will receive friends at the home of Debbie & Darrell Brantley, 5432 Serendipity Trail, Hahira, Georgia 31632.
Mr. Jones was born on April 11, 1974 in Valdosta, GA. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Sanford, NC. He was employed as a Civil Servant with the Directorate of Public Works Division at Ft. Bragg, NC. Jeremy had a special fondness for animals including his cats, “Biscuit” and “Gravy”.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Glenn and Diana Guthrie Jones of Sanford, NC; one brother, Joshua Jones of Sanford, NC; one sister and brother-in-law, Jessica Jones Hargett and Miran Hargett of Greenville, NC; maternal grandmother, Willie Belle Guthrie of Hahira, GA; one aunt and uncle, Debbie and Darrell Brantley of Hahira, GA; cousins, Nathan Brantley of Valdosta, GA, Sarah and Brandon Rampey and Briggs of Lakeland, GA, Erin Brantley of Valdosta, GA
