Gerald “Chip” Roberson, Sr. – 60
Of Valdosta passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Berrien County on January 6, 1950 to the late Varnie & Ruby (Ellis) Roberson. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Bo Bo Williams and brothers, Neal Roberson and Julius “Bug” Roberson.
Survivors include: Wife, Jeannie Roberson, Valdosta, GA, Son, “Lil” Chip Roberson, Valdosta, GA; Many special friends; Ricky Browning, Jimmy Lehman, James Coleman and others.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2010 in Hickory Grove Cemetery with Bro. Benny Daniels officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Mr. Roberson’s home, 6233 Grand Pine Drive, Valdosta, GA. 31606
