Laura Elizabeth Boykin – 77
Of Hahira passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 in Langdale Hospice House. She was born in Cook County on September 29, 1932 to the late June & Emma Lou (Sheffield) Hewett. She was a member of Hahira Church of God. She retired from Queen Carpet after 25 years.
Survivors include:Husband, Hermon Boykin, Valdosta, GA, Daughter, Wanda Bearden (Helen Allen), Atlanta, GA, Son & Daughter-in-law, Glenn & Sue Boykin, Hahira, GA, Brother & Sister-in-law, Billy & Betty Hewett, Blackshear, GA, Sister, Eleanor Martin, TyTy, GA, A number of nieces and Nephews
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Wilkes Cemetery in Cook County, GA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the funeral home.
